Notes: I've wanted to write a story about vampires since October of last year, wanting to see if I could do it better than Stephenie Meyer. I wrote 2/3rds of a vampire novel by March and it was so ridiculous and not at all what I wanted that I just had to face the facts and scrap it. After writing the mermaid story, I realized it would be better as a short story, so I made myself write an outline. This story was much harder to complete than the mermaid story, but it still only took me a week.

Title: The Girl with the Green Hair

Notes: I got the idea for this story when I had a dream about a mermaid on the night of April 26/27. I stayed up all night the next night and started and finished the outline. I completed writing it in four days. I'm posting it here in its entirety so lj people can read it.

Edit: I should probably mention that the beginning of this causes me great embarrassment. The dialogue is just so poorly written. So if you can get past that first bit you're good to go.
